We want to break down the barriers of the Turnstile and make it an open gateway to help those in need

We work on improving the lives of people of all ages,
Whether is a start of school kit, A pretty Prom Dress or a Wedding Gown, even a hot meal or a festive season delight.

All kinds of people have all kinds of challenges, and we seek out those challenges that make them feel less than human and attempt to help them address those challenges.

What we do

We plan and support amazing projects that help change the lives of disadvantaged people from children through to frail senior citizens in South Africa.

We Find & Distribute Good Food

The Open Turnstile transfers good usable food from surpluses and almost out of best before date, to those that have none.

We prepare Start of School Kits

Many children go to school on their first day with empty hands and that is not the way to start life.
The Open Turnstile packages these kits, and sees that school life starts off on the right note.

We Provide

Prom Dresses and even Wedding Dresses for that special occasion, to make her day, the best it possibly be.

We Make

We make Food Parcels and special event delights, with no boundaries of religion, race or creed.
